Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, who else sees it, and the rights you have over it. Written plainly, because a policy nobody can read protects nobody.
Overview
Last updated August 14, 2026
Neor Luxe operates neorluxe.com and is the data controller for the personal information described here. This policy explains how we handle your information when you browse the site, place an order, contact us or subscribe to our emails. By using the site you accept the practices set out below.
Where you are protected by the UK or EU General Data Protection Regulation, the California Consumer Privacy Act, or comparable law elsewhere, those rights apply in full and nothing in this policy reduces them.

What We Collect
Three kinds of information, gathered three different ways
Information you give us
- Name, email address, delivery and billing address, and telephone number
- Order details, including ring sizes, engraving text and custom specifications
- Account credentials, if you create an account
- Correspondence with our customer care team, including photographs you send us
- Payment information, which goes directly to our payment processor rather than to us
Information collected automatically
- IP address, approximate location, browser type and version, device and operating system
- Pages viewed, time spent, referring URL, and how you move through the site
- Order and browsing history associated with your account or device
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies to keep your basket working, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used, and — where you consent — to measure advertising. You can manage these through the consent banner or your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will break checkout.
What we deliberately do not collect. We do not ask for information we have no use for, we do not buy personal data from brokers, and we do not build profiles beyond what is needed to run the shop and, with your consent, to show you relevant products.
Why We Use It
And the legal basis for each purpose
| Purpose | Legal Basis |
|---|---|
| Taking payment, making your piece, and delivering it | Performance of our contract with you |
| Answering your questions and handling returns | Performance of our contract, and our legitimate interests |
| Preventing fraud and protecting the site | Our legitimate interests, and legal obligation |
| Understanding how the site is used, so we can improve it | Our legitimate interests, and consent for non-essential cookies |
| Sending marketing emails or messages | Your consent, withdrawable at any time |
| Keeping tax, accounting and customs records | Legal obligation |
Who Else Sees It
We do not sell your data — but running a shop means sharing some of it
We share personal information only with providers who need it to do a job for us. Each is bound by contract to protect it, to use it only on our instructions, and not to use it for their own purposes.
- Our e-commerce platform. Shopify hosts the store and processes checkout on our behalf.
- Payment providers. They receive your payment details directly and handle the transaction under PCI standards.
- Shipping carriers. They receive your name, address and contact details so your package can be delivered and signed for.
- Order tracking and customer support tools. These let you follow your package and let us answer your messages.
- Email and analytics providers. Used to send the messages you have opted into and to understand site performance.
- Advertising platforms, where you have consented to marketing cookies.
- Professional advisers and authorities, where we are legally required to disclose, or need to establish or defend a legal claim.
- A buyer or successor, if the business is sold or merged — your information would transfer with it, under the same protections.
A current list of the specific providers we use is available on request from support@neorluxe.com.
International Transfers
We ship worldwide, so data crosses borders
We are based in the United States and our providers operate in several countries. If you are in the UK, the EEA or another region with data transfer restrictions, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose laws differ from your own.
Where that happens, transfers are made under appropriate safeguards — such as the UK and EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision where one applies. You may request details of the safeguards relied on for your data.
How Long We Keep It
No longer than we need it
- Order records are retained for as long as tax, accounting and customs law requires us to keep them.
- Account information is kept while your account is open, and deleted on request afterwards.
- Marketing consent records are kept while you remain subscribed, plus a period afterwards to evidence that you consented and later withdrew.
- Customer service correspondence is kept while it may be relevant to a warranty, return or dispute.
- Analytics data is retained in aggregated or de-identified form where possible.
Your Rights
And how to use them
If you are in the UK or EEA
- Access — a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Rectification — correction of anything inaccurate or incomplete
- Erasure — deletion, where we have no overriding legal reason to keep it
- Restriction — to pause our processing while a dispute is resolved
- Portability — your data in a machine-readable format, or sent to another provider
- Objection — to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time
- Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting processing already carried out
- Complain — to your national supervisory authority, or the ICO in the United Kingdom
If you are in California
- Know what categories of personal information we collect, use and disclose
- Access the specific pieces of information we hold about you
- Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA, so there is nothing to opt out of
- Non-discrimination — exercising any of these rights will never affect the price you pay or the service you receive
To exercise any right, write to support@neorluxe.com from the email address associated with your order or account. We may ask for proof of identity before releasing or deleting data — that check protects you, not us. We respond within 30 days, and will tell you if we need longer.
Security
What we do, and what we cannot promise
- The site is served over TLS encryption throughout, including checkout.
- Payments are handled by PCI-DSS compliant processors. We never see or store your full card number.
- Access to personal data is restricted to people who need it to do their job.
- Our platform provider runs regular vulnerability and malware scanning.
No system is completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If a breach occurs that is likely to put your rights at risk, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority as the law requires.
Children
This site is not for them
Neor Luxe is not intended for anyone under 16, and in the United States we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, in line with COPPA. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, write to us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
And how you will know
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you directly rather than relying on you to notice.
